A boxed, blue and white striped ribbon with a gilt bar that has "XXV Jahre Dienstzeit" or "25 Yeas of Service." A simple hinge pin is to the reverse. Embossed to the reverse is "Weiss & Co" along with the address for "München" which matches the paper label to the bottom of the small cardboard box that measures approximately 6cm x 2cm. Of Note: This brooch design was worn similarly to the military long service awards for enlisted ranks. The striped ribbon was for Volunteer Firemen only. (1884-1918)
