A standard size, black and white photograph postcard that measures approximately 10.5cm x 15cm. To the reverse are the words "Kampf um eine Ortschaft im Osten or "Battle for a Town in the East". The photograph was taken by "SS-Kriegsberichter Augustin". The postcard has not been posted or used, but does show some yellowing and edge wear, which is typical of age.
