A two piece, glazed white porcelain butter dish with a plate base that measures approximately 20cm in diameter and a 13cm diameter dome that fits nicely over the raised "dish" portion of the plate. The dome has been repaired as can be seen by the glued repairs. The knob to the top has broken off, but can be easily repaired with some glue. The gilt design to the rim of the dish and cover shows alternating "SS" runes and the Odal rune (which was used by the SS/SD Race and Resettlement Office). The reverse of the plate is manufacture marked under the glaze for "Heinrich-Elfenbein-Porzellan".
