S001593 "TREE OF LIFE" CORNER TAPESTRY.
Manufactured by Deutsches Heimatwerk, this corner tapestry shows a Tree of Life with it’s branches spread outward. It also displays a pair of birds perched on the branches and a pair of unicorns to the base of the trunk. The tapestry would be displayed in the corner along with a Julleuchter and various SS items including the SS family book. A red/brown and beige/cream woven wool, 124.5cm x 158cm tapestry with seven 6cm long loops that run along the top edge. The wool shows wear, along with thinning of the background fabric.
