S000994 BELT LOOP STRAP WITH "D" RING. (Aufschiebeschlaufen) 

The belt loop strap with "D" ring served a large variety of functions and was widely used. Roughly 25mm wide, 90mm long, blackened leather construction belt loop strap. One end of the strap is folded over and stitched down and secures the steel "D" ring. One side of the strap is well marked with impressed SS runes, numerical code, "401/38", and the RZM logo. The SS runes and the RZM logo are both encompassed by dual circular border lines. The numerical code indicates manufacture in 1938 by an unknown manufacturer. The strap is in overall very good condition with minimal age and usage wear.
