N053077 DRKB TWENTY-FIVE YEAR MEMBERSHIP BADGE AWARD DOCUMENT. (Urkunde für Jubiläums-Abziechen Mitgliednadel)

BACKGROUND: The DRKB, "Deutscher Reichskriegerbund" (German National-veterans’-league), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, "Deutscher Kriegerbund," originally formed after the Franco-Prussian war in the 1870s. By 1936 it had incorporated most of the varied veterans’ associations into it, and was itself re-named the NS-RKB, "Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund," in 1938.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A roughly 21cm x 16cm, mid-weight paper, "Besitzzeugnis", (Possession Certificate), document with black printed Gothic script and typed particulars. The printed and typed script indicates that "Georg Neiser" of Rothenstadt, was awarded the DRKB Twenty-Five Year Membership Badge on May 5^th, 1936.
