A 40MM diameter, stamped alloy badge with painted detail on a pebbled, golden base. A green laurel-leaf wreath crowns a stylized red eagle clutching a target with a superimposed mobile swastika. The target is flanked by the red date "1943," with the embossed script to the bottom, "Pistole". The reverse has the impressed maker’s name, "C. Poellath," and "Schrobenhausen," to the soldered base of the intact pin back device.
