BACKGROUND: The "Verban fuer Leibesuebungen in den evangelischen Jungmaennerbuender" was the Physical Education Association for the Protestant (Evangelical) Young Men's Union. The organization was in existence during the Weimar republic.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Approximately 6.5cm square, slightly convex, stamped brass, pin with a hollow back. A simple spring pin is to the reverse. The design features a cross with a sprig of oak leaves all on a hammered background.
