BACKGROUND: The DRKB, "Deutscher Reichskriegerbund" (German National-veterans’-league), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, "Deutscher Kriegerbund," originally formed after the Franco-Prussian war in the 1870s. By 1936 it had incorporated most of the varied veterans’ associations into it, and was itself re-named the NS-RKB, "Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund," in 1938.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A 10.5cm x 14.5cm, 16 page membership booklet, to the top of whose green, cardstock cover is printed "Deutscher Reichskriegerbund (Kyffhäuserbund) " alongside DRKB logo. A small black and white photograph of the owner along with signature and office stamp is to the inside cover along with some due stamps.
