Specialized unit within these organization were permitted to wear the Edelweiss on either kepis, field caps or overseas caps.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Twp piece, alloy construction. Stemless edelweiss features nine extended irregular petals. The reverse of the badge is complete with both attachment prongs. The edelweiss has no visible manufacturers marks. Scarce.
