N035687 1938 S.A. KURPFALZ GROUP SPORTS COMPETITION BADGE. (Sport-Wettkämpfe Abzeichen) 

Roughly 38mm diameter, silver-colored, cast bakelite or proto-plastic whose central obverse image is that of a hand grasping the hilt of a double-edged sword, with a spray of oak leaves and the S.A. logo in the background. Surrounding the image is "SA Gruppen-Sport-Wettkämpfe 1938" and "Gruppe Kurpfalz." A vertical pin-back device is glued to the reverse, around which is embossed "Richard Sieper & Söhne" and "Lüdenscheid".
