A 22mm diameter, convex alloy lapel badge. It takes the form of a sunwheel swastika, with the arms of a smaller one within it, against three horizontal bands, the topmost cross-hatched, the middle vertically ribbed, and the bottom dotted. Stamped along the horizontal arm of the swastika is "Deutscher Turnerbund". A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to an oval plate soldered to the concave reverse. Arching beneath the pin-back is the maker’s name and address, "Reinemer & Spiegel Wein VII."
