(Schirmmütze)BACKGROUND: The Registered Soldier’s League (Soldatenbund, created in 1936, it was incorporated into the NS-RKB in 1938. A fairly short lived organization.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Dark blue wool top with red wool piping (to denote former Artillery service) and a black ribbed centerband. Soldatenbund eagle to the front over top a wreath and cockade. Leather chinstrap and buttons are complete. Nice complete liner and sweat diamond. Diamond is very nicely marked. Nice black vulkanfiber visor. Roughly a size 56. Scarce cap in great condition.
