BACKGROUND: The Reichskolonialbund (RKB) was the collective body which absorbed all German previous German colonial veterans groups in 1936. It was led by Franz Ritter von Epp. The Reichskolonialbund was active until 1943.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A 12mm x 20mm, brass and enamel, pentagonal shield emblem of the "Reichskolonialbund" (National-colonial-league), which features a mobile swastika within a diamond-shaped border, from whose points emanate bordered double stripes, with a constellation to the formed division to its upper left. The flat reverse is manufacture and "Ges. Gesch." marked . Attached is a 50mm long vertical pin is soldered to its reverse,
