An approximately 40mm diameter pressed cardboard badge with silver wash. The badge depicts a stylized eagle clutching an SA insignia superimposed on a sword. The badge contains the embossed text, "Gruppenwettkämpfe der SA Gruppe Hessen 1939". The reverse has an "RZM" marking as well as the text, "M9/60. Makers marked, "Paulmann & Crone Lüdenscheid". Complete with pinback device.
