N010158 HEINRICH DER LOWE, MEMBER'S IDENTIFICATION/CONTRIBUTION CARD.

A half-fold, 5 5/16" by 3 15/16", mid-weight, tan cardstock card with the heading "Großdeutscher Orden "Hienrich der Löwe"" (Grand German Order "Henry the Lion"), below which is printed "Ausweis für den Ordensbruder" (Identification card for the order brother) with personal information below and a stamped facsimile signature of "Hochmeister" (Grand Master) Heinrich Langwost. Of Note: Heinrich Langwost was founder and Grand Master of the Grand Teutonic Order "Henry the Lion" in 1923, which was formed for the democratically-more progressive political self determination of Lower Saxony. The interior is separated into five rows with twelve boxes marked with the months of the year, with the headings "Beitragsquittung" (contribution receipt) for the years 1929-1931, with stamps from April 1928 to September 1930 in place. The booklet is lightly age soiled and slightly wrinkled but is still in good condition.
