A stamped alloy badge in the form of an oval 56mm in height. The pin features an embossed facsimile of the SA sports badge, framed on either side by Edelweiss, beneath a mountain with rays of the sun rising from behind it. The embossed script "Wehrwettkampfe 1939 SA Brigade 94 in Linz" surrounds the image. To the reverse is a soldered-on vertical pin back device.
