This badge would have been worn by a "Technischer Reichbahninspektor" (Technical National-railways-inspector), "Technischer Reichbahnoberinspektor" (Technical National-railways-senior-inspector), or a "Reichsbahnamtmann - in Bau Technischer Aussendienst" (National-railway-supervisor - in technical-construction Services) on the left forearm of their tunic.
