N006094 SA ROTTENFÜHRERS’ EMERGENCY FIELD DRESSING KIT. (Notverbandpäckchen) 

Interesting, two piece, emergency field dressing kit of pressed brown cardboard with simulated wood grain. Kit measures roughly 6" tall and 3 1/2" wide. Rounded corner kit with metal reinforcements to top and bottom. Two piece kit with an inner and outer sleeve with one end of each being open. Inner sleeve slides into outer sleeve for secure closure. Outer sleeve with black printed Cross and script, "Notverbandpäckchen für Rottenführer", (Emergency field dressing kit for Rottenführer). Inner sleeve with fold back lid with printed contents label. All contents listed on label are intact and consist of, four cellophane wrapped mercuric chloride cheesecloth compresses, two rolled packets of cotton wool bandages, one compressed packet of cotton wool bandages, one packet of muslin bandages, and three safety pins, all in their original packaging. I believe this to most probably be SA.
