The first page is signed by the author. The forth page features a signature by the translator. Beginning with a brief history of the Luftwaffe, a translation of a pre-war promotional document from Siemens Corporation which details their different models, arrangements of microphones, electrical construction, fitting, and the "Lorenz" on-board communications system is next. Complete descriptions of the Lkp S 64, Lkp S 100, Lkp W 100, Lkp S 101, Lkp W 101, K33 winter, FK34 summer, and Lkp N101 netting flight helmet follows. The work also briefly touches on flight helmet covers, visor hats and side caps, and then goes into greater detail on steel helmets and the various "Fliegerstahlhelm." The latter half of the book is concerned with oxygen masks and flight goggles. It concludes with sections on glider crash helmets and paratrooper helmets.
