C106082 USMC VIETNAM WAR ERA RIFLEMAN’S GROUPING.

The group consists of the following:

-M1961 USMC Cartridge belt with snaps to secure M14 magazine pouches

- M1961 USMC magazine pouches (4)

- M1941 USMC cartridge belt suspenders (Vietnam Era)

- M1941 USMC haversack (Korea/Vietnam Era)

- M1952 USMC canteen cases (Marine contract with USMC stencil faint, but visible)

- M1910 canteen (2) dated 1945 and canteen cup dated 1953

- WWII 1944 dated M2 jungle first aid kit, adapted and re-stocked in mid 1960's.

- First aid pouch dated 1952 with Korean war era dressing

- "Kabar" style fighting knife marked "Camillus - NY" with black leather scabbard

- Rubberized poncho dated 1965 as issued to both Army and Marine units in Vietnam

- M1943 entrenching tool dated 1944 with 2nd pattern M1943 cover

- M6 bayonet and scabbard for a M14 rifle.

Of Note: Originally for a rifleman armed with an M14, however, photo evidence shows that M14 pouches continued in use for a time when M16's were issued to the Marines.
