C105682 U.S. M1910 CARTRIDGE BELT.

Identified with a period, circular brass unit disc to "Company C, 166th Infantry Regiment". This was originally an Ohio nation Guard Unit that was incorporated into the U.S. Army, 42nd "Rainbow" Division. The Division was one of the first of the A.E.F. to land in France and saw 264 days of combat. The belt 84cm or 37" long and is marked "Patent Mills July 16 ‘07, May 18, ‘15." to each of the crimped, brass ends of the webbed extension.
