A white "Donald Duck" cap with a one-piece crown, four-piece body has seams at each of its cardinal points, and two metal grommet ventilation holes under each side of the crown. To its center band is tied a black silk ribbon with "H.M.C.S.," in gold, machine woven to it. Chin strap is intact. The interior is stamped with a size of 6 7/8 and a 1943 date. Included, is a post war, "HMCS Porte Quebec" cap tally that was purchased with the original grouping. The name "C. Pearson, V14611" is written to the sweatband. Comes with original metal storage case with "CPO Pearson" hand marked to the brass plate on the lid. The case closes hard with numerous dents.
