C054487 "LINCOLN & WELLAND" CAP BADGE.

The roots of this regiment can be traced back to 1777, but it was not until 1936 that the two units were reorganized. The stamped, brass metal alloy measures approximately 5cm x 4cm that depicts a closed clam shell to the center surrounded by "Lincoln & Welland" that is surmounted by a Kings Crown. Beneath on a scroll is their motto "Non Nobis Sed Patriae" or "Not for Ourselves but for Our Country." The reverse is a mirror image to the front with two lugs present. Sits on a red wool formed coloured flash (est. 1948).
