An olive drab wool tunic, with a five button front that leads to a stand-up collar fastened by two hooks and eyes The four front patch pockets have button down scalloped flaps. The five large front closure buttons, and the four small pocket and two small shoulder strap buttons, are all embossed with an American eagle. The integral, button shoulder straps have rank insignia of Second Lieutenant. The interior is fully lined. The chest measures approximately 38". Included is a pair of khaki wool trousers with a four bakelite button fly with an additional button and hook and eyelet to the waist. The legs taper just below the knee where eight bakelite buttons make for a secure fit. One of these buttons is missing on the left facing leg. A small slash pocket is situated to the right side of the waistband and as well two hip pockets. Two rear pockets are also present with scalloped flaps and bakelite buttons. Five wool belt loops extend the exterior of the waistband. The trousers are unlined. To the interior is a white tag with the owners name "Major J.H. Barker" along with the date of "Aug.2-17" and measurements. The waist measures approximately 28" with a 30" inseam.
