The "Legion Francaise des Combattants" or "French Combatants Legion" was formed in 1940 that consisted mainly of veterans supporting Petain. They were only allowed in the unoccupied zone with 1.5million members in 1942. This shield shaped, metal alloy and enamel lapel badge, measures approximately 18mm x 18cm with a 4.5cm long straight pin. Maker Marked " J. Decat Abrest Vichy". With sword for Legionnaire.
