C036692 BRITISH "New Land Pattern" FLINTLOCK.
1800's British Flintlock Pistol. "New Land Pattern" flintlock, widely used by the British during the Napoleonic Wars and War of 1812. The barrel measures approximately 23cm or 9" long with steel rod. It would be great for display purposes. It does spark. Dates pre- US Civil War and would be somewhere between the Revolutionary War and plus or minus the War of 1812. This one looks like the stock has been worked on (repaired) more than once over its life. The hardware has also been cleaned. No permit (PAL) needed to own in Canada.
