C033594 RCAF P37 WATER BOTTLE.

A blue enamel coated water bottle covered with a wool outer cover slipped within a blue/grey webbed harness. The canteen still has its original stopper cork, with an aluminum plate and metal eyelet to its top. The harness is made from three pieces of light blue grey webbed straps sewn together. Two to form a cradle for the nested containers and one sewn in a loop to hold the other two. The strap extending along the bottom and up each side terminates in brass buckles. The strap that extends from the rear, over the canteen, does not attach to the brass stud The wool seams are pulling apart along the top and bottom.
