A model 24 bayonet, with its original scabbard. The unsheathed bayonet has an overall length of 43.5cm, whose contoured bird’s head pommel has a stud guide and locking stud. Its contoured wooden grips are fixed by two plain-headed bolts and slot-headed washers. The top of the pommel bears a three letter code of "tgf" for Zbrojovka Brno. The tang is engraved with "E3" , Rampant Lion and 48". The 30cm long phosphate finish blade is not marked to either side of the ricasso. The cross piece, also shows a phosphate finish and is also unmarked. The scabbard lug is marked with a CZ trademark, along with "E3' Rampant Lion and "46'. Included is a heavy, brown leather frog with strong stitching that is ink marked to the reverse.
