BACKGROUND:
The Dutch "Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging" (National Socialist Movement), founded by Anton Mussert in December 1931, established a youth branch, "Nationale Jeugdstorm," in May 1934. This branch was sub-divided into two different male and female sections based on the age of the personnel. The section for males aged 14-17 was the designated Stormers (Storm Troopers).PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A stamped, zinc, cap badge worn on the astrakhan side cap by all Jeugdstorm ranks. The badge measures approximately 4cm x 6cm with one folded tang to the reverse. Pin will need to be repaired.
