C030964 U.S. WWII NAVAL AIRCREW MEMBER BADGE.
A two piece sterling pair of wings measuring approximately 2cm x 5cm with a central emblem of a fouled anchor with "Air Crew" below. The gilt has 99.9% worn off. Surmounting the wings is a ribbon with the insignia of three five pointed stars missing. To the reverse is a simple pin clasp to the flat back and is inscribed "Amico" and "Sterling." The badge shows heavy wear and age, but overall a nice salty example.
