C029978 USN "Seabees" BLUE & WHITE SERVICE TUNICS AND CAP.
A named white cotton cap and service tunics to "G.H. Bartlow". Insignia to each tunic indicates that they were a member of the Seabees (Special Construction Battalion), along with rank and trade insignia for Petty Officer 2nd Class, Carpenter’s Mate. A ruptured duck is sewn to the right breast for Honourable Discharge on the blue tunic. The chest measures approximately 38" on the white tunic, while the blue wool measures approximately 40".. The cap shows yellowing typical of age.
