An air force blue wool greatcoat with a four button, double breasted front with lay down, peaked collar. Sewn to each shoulder is a flash with the word "Canada" to it. Two large hip pockets are present to the front with diagonal flaps. The integral, button shoulder boards show the rank of Flight Lieutenant. A matching belt with brass buckle is attached to the rear panel. The interior is partially lined with a grey coarse wool. A white tag sewn to the interior left facing breast pocket shows the manufacture name, as well as that of the owners and a date of 1943. The chest measures approximately 42". Included, is a typewritten letter dated "August 14, 1995" from the son of Flight Lieutenant Dennison of 165 Squadron (RCAF Station Rivers, Manitoba) who was a Lockheed C-60A Lodestar crew member.
