BACKGROUND: The "Fascist Youth" was created on March 23, 1931 which was the 12th anniversary of the creation of the "Fasci Italiani di Combattimento." The first editor of the magazine was Carlo Scorza, who was replaced within the first year of publication by Achille Starace. The style of the illustrations were heavily influenced by art deco. Publication stopped after December 1936.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This 25 page magazine measuring 25cm x 34cm features many articles, black and white photos and political cartoons. The first article in this magazine is "La morte di Arnaldo Mussolini" who was Benito Mussolini’s brother. It is "Anno 1 N. 40-41" for "20-27 Dicembre." It has been folded to the center.
