C026895 FRENCH “Chef de Battalion” KEPI.

A horizon blue, “polo” style kepi with four gilt bands that represent the rank of Major. A chin strap of the same material as the kepi is held secure by a pair of buttons. Original, thick black leather visor is intact. The interior is lined in black ribbed material with a black leather sweatband intact and remains supple. Approximately a size 52. There is a moth hold along the edge, as well as smaller hole and some tracking.
