C026795 FRENCH M1884 “Chasseurs a Cheval” KEPI. 

A red wool top with sky blue band, along with a red wool “19" regimental number sewn to the centerband. A small repair to a moth hole is to the crown. Original, thick, black leather visor whose stitching has become loose , but is intact. The interior is lined in a faded “madder red” cloth to the top with a gilt manufacture marking, with coarse buckram to the sides. The leather sweatband is intact and has become a bit stiff. Approximately a size 55. Light mothing to the wool.
