C026195 BRITISH “ENLISTED MAN” MACKINAW COAT.

A khaki coloured, waterproof poplin, double breasted coat with three pairs of double leather buttons and lay down collar. Two buttons are under the collar to either side, that correspond to a webbed loop to secure to the neck. The shoulder straps are not attached, but are included with the jacket. They are original to the jacket. Two large pockets are to the front with flaps. The cuffs are straight and non adjustable. The interior is partially lined with a white tag sewn to the interior. The tag reads in part “O.E. Enlisted Man, Size No. 44, Breast 44, Length 35 ˝", Steinberg & Sons Ltd. 1944" along with a broad arrow. The coat shows moderate/heavy usage and wear with some stains and tear.
