C026170 U.S. M1889 REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK BAYONET WITH SCABBARD.
A blued, contoured bird’s head pommel with stud guide and stud, and age darkened, contoured wooden grips that are held in place with two screw head rivets. The blued, contoured metal cross guard has a circular muzzle guide. The single fullar, unsharpened blade, measures approximately 40cm long and 52cm in its entirety, as well as being marked "Remington Arms Co. Ilion N.Y.". The scabbard measures approximately 43cm in length that is permanently affixed to the folded section of leather that a belt fits through. The blade shows some pitting, while the scabbard retains 90% of it’s bluing. The leather shows heavy usage and wear, but remains supple.
