C026095 ITALIAN “ALPINI” BUSTINA FIELD CAP.

The "Bustina" field cap was originally introduced in 1933 and was worn by both Army and Fascist militia personnel, with minor variations. Grey/green, wool/rayon blend field service cap with fold down side panels with flaps, held over the top of small metal snap. Fold down front visor in the upright position. A bullion embroidered badge representing the Mountain troops is to the front. The cap is fully lined with a brown sweat band that remains supple.
