C025995 U.S. ENLISTED MAN MACKINAW COAT.

A double breasted, waterproof, tan coat with belt. Three rows of paired, buttons to the front, lead to a lay down wool collar. Under the collar is a tab with corresponding button that allows for a snug fit around the neck. . The cuffs are adjustable. Horizontal pockets are to each hip with flap. The underside of the adjustable belt is also wool lined. To the wool lined interior, is a tag that shows the size as 38, Breast 38" and Length 331/2". A broad arrow, date of 1944 and manufacture name is also present. There is what appears to be a burn hole to the back panel of the jacket to the shoulder area and along the arm. British production for U.S. forces.
