C025777 CIVIL/INDIAN WAR SPECTACLES.
A pair of oval optics with clear lenses for far sightedness with green swing out lenses. These lenses measure approximately 3.5cm x 2.5cm (includes the frame) with the right glass lense being a bit misshaped for the wire. The glasses have a "C" bridge, pivot or tun-pin temples that have a screw and separate pin that acts as a pivot. The left arm is marked "G.G.". The optics appear to be in good condition with little or no scratching with the lenses and temples moving with ease. Of Note: Although these types of glasses are often referred to as "sharp shooter glasses", there is little printed proof to corroborate this. They were most probably used as "sun glasses".
