C023186 U.S. M1855 U.S. CIVIL WAR UNION ANGULAR/SOCKET BAYONET.

A 47cm long, tapering triangular blade with fullers to all three sides. The blackened blade shows heavy usage and wear with rust pitting. The socket has a 2cm wide diameter (to the inside) and a 2.5cm wide diameter measuring to the outside. No visible markings. Locking band is rusted closed and will not turn. Opening has been dented and this will no longer attach to a rifle.
