A dark green visor cap with yellow piping and central band bears the cap badge for the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards (stay bright). A pair of bright buttons keep the chin strap in place. A large band measuring approximately 2cm wide is along the edge of the visor, while the underside is in green lacquer. The interior is lined with a brown sweatband. A label showing the size of "6 5/8" is present. Handwriting is visible to the sweatband.
