C016891 CANADIAN WWII MEMORIAL CROSS.
The silver Cross, which is 31mm x 31mm is suspended by a bar. At the top of the cross there is a relief of a crown, while at the foot, and at the center, it is framed by a wreath of laurel, the royal cipher "GVIR" Is engraved. Maple leafs are to three arms of the cross. The number, rank and name of the soldiers commemorated is engraved on the back of the cross "A. 28435 GNR. R.C. RUDELL". The reverse is also marked "Sterling" . The medal is suspended from a 15mm wide purple ribbon.
