C016690 WW1 CANADIAN 2 MKII PRACTICE/DUMMY .303 CALIBER CARTRIDGE CLIP (Inert/Deactivated).

A .303 cartridge clip that hold five dummy shells. To the bottom of the shells is the "C" with broad arrow. Three of the shells are dated 1917, one 1916 and one for 1915, along with a Dominion Arsenal marking. Quite rare, different then the MK III that came into use in late 1916 and used throughout WW2. The clips show age and wear that is typical to the period.
