C016091 ROYAL CANADIAN ENGINEERS MEMORIAL CROSS.

The Silver Cross, which is 35 mm high by 32 mm wide, is suspended by a brooch bar that is 35 mm long. At the top of the cross there is a relief of a crown. Each arm bears a maple leaf, framed by a wreath of laurel, while at the center, is the royal cipher "GRI" for King George V. Etched to the reverse is "A. 19155 L/Cpl. G.N. Gregory". The reverse is also marked "Sterling". Included is the original case, along with presentation card. Of Note: Lance Corporal George Nelles Gregory was born Middlesex Ontario on October 15, 1903 who served in the Royal Canadian Engineers during WWII. He died on May 16, 1940 at the age of 36.
