C015694 VIETNAM WAR PERIOD U.S. COLT PISTOL HOLSTER.

A black leather holster with brass fittings has a top fold over flap has "US" within a horizontal oval embossed to it and single stud hole. Both the front and reverse base of the holster body has a brass ventilation grommet. The reverse features a riveted leather section with two vertical slashes to draw a belt through, surmounted by a brass hook for the same purpose. Between the vertical slashes is impressed " Bolen Lea Prod. 7791466" which was used 1963 64. The interior of the holster has a built up section, evidently for positioning the pistol more securely. All of the stitching is intact.
