Two webbed canvas single-pocket supplementary ammo pouches, each roughly 13cm x 22cm x 8.5cm, in which infantrymen could carry extra gun magazines as well as their own ammunition. To the forward edge of the top fold-over flap to each is a brass stud which mates with a brass button on an extended vertical tab proceeding from the center front of the pouches. To their reverses are, to the top, a brass buckle sewn to an extended tab (for the suspenders), while to the bottom, on either side, are vertical brass belt hooks with reinforced webbing. Stamped in black ink to the interior of the pouches is "S.N. Ltd. 1941" along with broad arrows, while the other pouch is marked "D&M Ltd. 41". Included is a yoke strap is marked "M.E.Co. 1939" with broad arrow and waist straps.
