Two webbed canvas single-pocket supplementary ammo pouches, each roughly 12.5cm x 23cm x 8cm, in which infantrymen could carry extra gun magazines as well as their own ammunition. To the forward edge of the top fold-over flap to each is a brass stud which mates with a brass button on an extended vertical tab proceeding from the center front of the pouches. To their reverses are, to the top, a brass buckle sewn to an extended tab (for the suspenders), while to the bottom, on either side, are vertical brass belt hooks with reinforced webbing. To the reverse is ink stamped "Front’ and "Rear". Stamped in black ink to the rear pouch is "Z.L. & T. Ltd. 1941" along with a "C" broad arrow, while to the interior of the front pouch is "M.S. & U. Ltd. ", a partial date and a "C-broad arrow". Included is a yoke that is marked "Z. L. & T. Ltd. 1943" with a "C" broad arrow.
