C014192 BRITISH 52nd LOWLAND REGIMENT GLENGARRY.
A black woven wool "wedge" cap has a red wool Touri (pom-pom) to its crown, black rayon edging along its base, and approximately 29cm long, dual black rayon ribbons, with swallow-tail cut ends, extend from its reverse. A 3 cm tall diced band is along its sides, in white, red and black, over the left front of which is fixed "stay bright" post war cap badge, on an approximately 9cm x 7.5cm black rayon rosette. The interior of the Glengarry is lined in black cotton, with the horizontal cotter pin for its cap badge visible to its left side. Of Note: The British 52nd Lowland Regiment Staybright Cap Badge is a distinguished insignia that symbolizes the valour and heritage of the 52nd Lowland Volunteers, an infantry regiment of the British Army.
